I can’t believe I have been in San Francisco for already four weeks – time flies!! – So far I have seen a lot of the city and think that I’m ready to share my initial thoughts.

Let’s start off by saying I LOVE SAN FRANCISCO! Before coming here, I had a lot of expectations. Back home people kept telling me how amazing SF is, and I agree with them 100%. The City has surpassed all of my expectations.

I never thought San Francisco would be such a diverse city. Everywhere I look, there is something new to discover. – I don’t think I’ll get bored soon – There is literally something for everyone!

You have vibrant and colorful Chinatown, where you’re transported into a completely different world. Then there is the hip and trendy Castro district, home to San Francisco’s large LGBTQI community, where there is never a dull moment. Of course there is the famous Golden Gate Park, which is over half the length of the City! When in it you feel as if you are miles away from the City, packed away in a beautiful forest. And let’s not forget about the Golden Gate Bridge. San Francisco’s most famous landmark. If you are lucky enough, and the weather-gods keep the fog away, you have an incredible view of the bridge from different viewing points all around the Bay Area.

I could write about the City forever, but will spare you for now ;)

There is just so much more to SF, and I definitely recommend putting this city on your bucket list!

I’ll see you in my next post!
