A fresh start

After a long break of 7 months, I eventually took up the courage to write to you. It has been a long time as can be told. Once university started again in September, the rush of projects, presentations, tests, and reports took the overhand. Yet an exciting new chapter began as it was also time to start my internship preparations! Yes, that is right, I have left charming Maastricht for the coming half year as I have started my internship as a front office intern. Whenever I am not working, I fill my days with afternoon tea, minding gaps, apologizing constantly, ohh, and not forgetting having royal neighbours. Can you guess where I am already? LONDON, BABY!

I am writing you form the incredible city of London. I have been here for almost 4 weeks now, and I have loved every second of it. Such a vibrant and diverse city, never a dull moment to witness! I moved to London one week before starting my internship so I could settle in properly. Within my first week, I have explored already some parts if the city, however there is obviously still much more to experience! The excitement has gotten to a point where a 50-page list has been written down with cafés, restaurants, sights, and numerous activities to do in London and in the UK.

Being here has reminded me of my times in San Francisco and Paris during my GAP-year, a journey that was the very reason to start a blog. Writing this post makes me realize how much I've missed just sitting down and sharing my stories. Within my 7-month break, I have been writing, or at least i have been trying to. I was not happy with my writing and how my style evaluated throughout the years. Perhaps the buzz of life lately did me good and made me rediscover the things I actually love. A simple reminder to why this blog exists.

Anyhow, let’s just say this is a fresh re-start of my blog!
